・At the
90th annual meeting of Chemical Society of Japan(CSJ), Prof. Masuhara
was awarded CSJ fellow. This fellow system has been established to
celebrate his significant efforts for research, education, or industry
in chemistry of Japan. Prof. Masuhara is one of the 3rd generation
of this fellow system. ・On 25th of Jan., Prof. Masa-aki Haga and Mr. Sho Fujii,
from Chuo university in Japan, visited our lab and Prof. Haga gave
a seminar in Dep. of Appl. Chem. Mr. Fujii will stay here for two
weeks and will do our collaborative works. |
・The
1st NCTU-NAIST workshop on "Molecular/ Nano Science" has successfully
finished. ・On , three Drs. from AIST in Takamatsu, Dr. Mitsuru
ISHIKAWA, Dr. Tamitake ITOH and Dr. VIJU visited our laboratory and
gave presentations in the lecuture of "Laser Bio/Nano Science". ・Mr. Ryoya Shiraishi (Tokushima Univ., supervised by
Prof.
Shuichi Hashimoto) visited our lab and did experiments for a week. ・In The
Journal of Physical Chemistry C, Hiroshi Masuhara Festschrift
is just published. Many colleagues and collaborators of Prof. Masuhara
wrote articles for this special issue. ・Dr. Anwer Usman has joined our lab as a postdoctral
fellow. ・On April 29th, Prof.
Hiroyuki Sugimura (Kyoto Univ.), Prof.
Syoji Ito, and Prof. Takahiro Kaji (Osaka Univ.) visited our laboratory
and gave presentations in the lecuture of "Laser Bio/Nano Science".
The titles of the three presentation is shown below. ・We held a party in celebration of Prof. Masuhara being awarded The Medal with Purple Ribbon on Jan. 11th at New Okura Hotel Osaka. At the party, Prof. Y. P. Lee gave a speach and a plaque to Prof. Masuhara. (22/01/2009)
