Research Theme

Under rational development of new reactions and new feature materials, conventional trial and error methods do not work well and it is indispensable to clarify detailed reaction mechanism including information of the transition state structure. We tried to clarify the detailed reaction mechanism by direct observation of transition state using ultrashort pulses supported by theoretical analysis. It aims to give a powerful tool for analysis of reaction mechanism and provide guidelines for development of new reaction and functionality material synthesis.
