Localized surface plasmon polariton is induced at the surface of metal nanoparticles with light irradiation. The contribution of molecules which are adsorbed on to specific metal crystal planes to localized surface plasmon will be elucidated. Efficient propagation of localized surface plasmon in arranged nanostructures which is covered with those molecules, furthermore, is explored. Herewith, I would like to aim the establishment of novel chemical reaction system which can be designed spatially light-receiving site and reaction site.
