Our goal is to realize a truly continuous-wave (CW) atom laser based on all-optical techniques, which is continuous operation. This technique can manipulate different atomic species simultaneously. Therfore, by means of sympathetic cooling, CW atom laser can also be realized for atomic species that are not eligible for direct evaporative cooling. Because of the high flux and monochramaticity, this method will also offer possiblity of improvements in flux and patterning resolution of atom holography techniques.
