The life is managed by precisely controlling the gene expression. Especially, localization of mRNA is great conditioning the cell fate in the early development phase. In the present study, I will develop the new method to regulate the translation of mRNA in a single living cell by “Light”, which allow accurate and easy control of the location, dosage, and time when an event occurs. This method will be an innovative technology for all bioscience research such as a differentiation control of the iPS cell.
